I was watching HBO’s show, Insecure, which features the channels first all black cast. The show is like the black millennials Sex and the City, which has made it interesting and provided perspective. On the Last episode of season two, Frank Ocean’s single, Biking, was played as the final events played out. It was the perfect song for the end of the season and it is also one of the best Frank Ocean songs I have heard in a long time (mind the fact that I did not listen to Blonde, his latest release). I have attached the track. Give it a listen and check out HBO Insecure while you’re at it.

Last night, a piece of my childhood exited the ring, the Undertaker retired. As an avid wrestling fan throughout my early years, I remember watching every Wrestlemania and waiting to see the Undertaker retain his streak. Over the years, we have all watched him weaken in strength while maintaining the same strong spirit and love he has always had for his sport. His loss to Brock Lesnar, which ended his streak, was heartbreaking to watch but it did show that time was closing in on him. Last night, I watched as Undertaker essentially gave his last show, but in a way let us know, through Roman Regins defeat, that it was time for him to go and stop fighting. As sad as this makes me feel, I also know that it is time to accept that he has put in all he has got and now he must rest. My heart broke as I saw him take off his gloves, cloak, and hat and lay them to rest in the ring. While this is goodbye to the Deadman, this is also a time to thank him for his years and contributions to Wrestling entertainment. I will always remember being mesmerized while watching him excel at his sport.
Thank you Undertaker. May your gimmick rest in Peace.
