“I’m on that good kush and alcohol.” How about a little rap review everybody. Oooo, Have I done one of these yet? I’m not too sure…anyways. Love Me is a song by Lil Wayne (Weezy) with featuring artists Future and Drake (Drizzy). It is produced by Mike Will Made It (That guy that did Miley Cyrus’ album #bangerz). I think that this is one of the best hip hop songs that I have heard in a while. Future’s half sing/rap voice at the beginning of the song is so perfectly complimentary to the song that I fell in love with the song just from hearing the first 30 seconds. Drake is just amazing in almost every track he is featured in. Even though Drake says virtually nothing, his presence on this track just makes it even better. Lil Wayne’s main rap just hit it on the nail. His flow and lyrics were just amazing (or as amazing as rap lyrics can be these days). Mike Will Made It did a great job with the beat. I love this song and I am constantly playing it over and over again. Even though I dont really listen to rap (as you guys might have guessed), I still like to indulge once in a while. Next to Bangerz, this is definitely one of my favourite musical things right now.
Yes, I did it. I caved and bought Bangerz. And let me tell you about how much I love it. Not only did this album get me through the grueling task of studying for exams, but it also gave a great new soundtrack to work out to. Yes I did expect the album to have more songs that were…bangerz, but I must commend Mike-Will-Made-It’s efforts. The album was great and worked well with accommodating her voice. The people that Miley chose to work with really did help to make the album good. Although the album was great for my needed pop music fix it, it wasn’t the best pop album I have ever hear. In fact, I kind of feel that it didn’t meet up to the hype. Either way, I like it, and you probably like it too.
Love. Money. Party
Do My Thang
“J’s on my feet, so get like me”. Such profound lyrics. Now, I just want to take this moment to say that Miley Cyrus is a genius. Change yourself in the most controversial way in order to create profit….and its working. 23 is a Mike WiLL Made It song which features Miley Cyrus, Wiz Kalifha, and Juicy J. This is actually a good dancing/clubbing song; I really like it. There’t not much to say really. Its a good song, I like it. Work out to it or walk to it. It has a good beat. Its the first time Miley raps on a track. It is unique and its just as good as any other rap song out there. Enjoy!
When it comes to Miley Cyrus, I am a very selective listener. In saying that, I loved the Backyard Sessions, because it was so…Miley. Although this music does represent her new image, I was just not blown away by this musical effort. Does that mean I hate it: No. Does this mean I love it: No. It is simply alright in my mind. I like the chill beat as it compliments the tone of the song. I like the background rapping. Her voice is average in this song. It just didn’t blow me away and I probably will not have this on replay, but I do think that it was worth a blog post. Yes, I do think that this is all I have to write about this. Until next time…
