I’m posting a lot this month. It must partially have to do with the fact that I am at home doing nothing of particular interest. I have been doing yoga, walking my dog, eating food, walking my dog, reading. So I can now fit some blogging time into my schedule. I can also return to one of my favourite pastimes which is watch movies.
Last night I watched a film called Another Happy Day and it was one of the most moving films I have watched in a while. Not only was it a film about a family that had mental issues galore, but it just showed that people are still people and that all our problems are there just accentuated at different degrees. The film starred Demi More, Ezra Miller, Kate Bosworth, and Ellen Barkin. Miller and Barkin produce stellar performances and I recommend that you all take the time to watch this film if you feel that your heart can handle it.
As for music, the song that stood out to me the most from this film was Everything Must Change, which plays at the end of the film. This song kind of feels like a resolution to all the events that took place throughout the film but it foreshadows that things may not exactly change for the better. The version of the song that is heard in the film is by Benard Ighner. It truly is dark but beautiful.
